Methionine is one of the essential sulphur amino acids. Humans, unlike bacteria, cannot synthesize methionine from aspartic acid. Methionine is required in the structure of nucleic acid, collagen formation, and protein synthesis of cells.

This sulphur containing essential amino acid has antioxidant properties and is necessary for the mineral selenium to be absorbed and utilised. Methionine can also be used in detoxification*.

As with all Lamberts amino acids, Lamberts L-Methionine is presented in its free-form for maximum absorption. Each capsule provides a full 500mg of L-Methionine.

Dosage: 1 to 2 tablets daily. It is preferable to take amino acids with fruit juice or water, rather than milk. An amino acid is best taken ½ hour before any meal or at bedtime.
Disintegration Time: Less than 30 minutes.
