Melatonin 1 mg by Lamberts® provides 1 mg of pharmaceutical grade melatonin per tablet. The tablets are fast-release to ensure the rapid release and absorption of melatonin by the body (less than 20 minutes after ingestion).
Melatonin is a hormone synthesized in the pineal gland of the brain. Its production and secretion are periodic and controlled by the circadian (daily) «clock,» which is synchronized with the light-dark cycle. Therefore, the synthesis and secretion of melatonin occur exclusively during the night and are completely inhibited by exposure to daylight. This fact highlights the significant role that melatonin plays in the physiology and disorders of sleep. Indeed, 1 mg of melatonin per dose before bedtime helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep.

HOW TO USE
