Pomegranate has been used for centuries by Moroccan women for its coloring properties. In Klorane they cultivate a unique species, Punica granatum L., whose bark is very rich in tannins that stabilize the keratin color and prevent the blurred appearance of the hair. Its high content of antioxidant polyphenols also highlights the shine of the hair.
The cultivation of the pomegranate is done with all respect for the ecosystem and the quality of each harvested fruit is checked by following the cultivation contract of the Phytofilière® Clean Extraction Procedure KLORANE. From the bark, there is an extract whose efficacy is scientifically proven and patented: it prolongs hair color up to 2 times.
