Centaurea is a harvest plant, commonly seen in Europe and Western Asia. Harvest of its flowers is performed during floral booming. These flowers are then dried in the shade and in airy premises to ensure that their original colour is kept. The extract obtained from dried plants contains a natural blue colouring agent called cyanocentaurein.
Formulated with a very mild emulsifying, softening and volume-enhancing base, Klorane’s Centaurea extract prevents the yellowing process of white or grey hair. It acts by restoring radiance in the hair by adding silver highlights thanks to the cyanocentaurein it contains. These are only highlights as the effect is external.
