Lecithin phosphatidyl choline enriched with phosphatidyl inositol and that help brain function and fat metabolism.
Lecithin is a main component of bile produced by the liver and stored in the gall bladder. It helps to emulsify fat, helping their absorption, so it is an ideal supplement for those who can not tolerate fatty or those who the gall bladder is removed (low-bile can cause gallstones).
Lecithin also emulsifies fats in the liver, and supports healthy metabolism of fats, which help to keep cells supple. It also helps to maintain healthy cholesterol levels and assists the transport of fats in the body. Lecithin is a rich source of phosphatidylcholine (PC), a precursor of acetylcholine, the principal neurotransmitter chemical in the brain key to memory, concentration, learning and muscle control.
Useful in the metabolism of fat in the proper functioning of the stomach and duodenum and in maintaining good health of the arteries. Through the production of acetylcholine helps memory and learning ability and can reduce mental fatigue. Also contains phosphatidyl inositol, which is abundant in the brain where it forms 10% of all the phospholipids and maintains cell membranes, the functions of assimilation and excretion of nutrients.
